Nous sommes une petite compagnie de distribution de finis naturels pour le bâtiment situé à Montréal dans la province de Québec. Nous sommes à la recherche de 1 ou 2 personnes désireuses de participer à un projet de stage. Les personnes recherchées doivent faire preuve d’autonomie, d’un bon sens de l’organisation du travail de recherche, être minutieuses dans leurs démarches et être capable de travailler en équipe. Objectif général du stage
Recherche sur le comportement physique et le rendu esthétique de différents matériaux de finitions issues de la tradition comme par exemple les huiles naturelles pour les bois, la chaux, la caséine, l’argile sous différentes formes : peinture, enduits de granulométries diverses, Tadelakt, etc.
Description
Ce projet comportera plusieurs aspects. Entre autres, il y aura mise en œuvre des matières (en atelier) afin de déterminer certains comportements (résistance, temps de prise, perméabilité à l’eau de ruissellement, etc.). Il y aura aussi une recherche esthétique dans le but de mettre en valeur le côté décoratif de ces matériaux par des variations dans la pose selon différentes recettes utilisées incluant mises en teinte et applications de diverses finitions de protection sur un matériau donné.
Les résultats de ce projet serviront à l’amélioration esthétique de la salle de montre ainsi qu’à la création de présentations visuelles destinée aux artisans, architectes et autres publics. Ces démarches devront donc donner lieu à des présentations visuelles de grandes qualités ainsi qu’à une meilleure compréhension des comportements des matériaux présentés.
Le stage est non rénuméré. Il sera executé en atelier et supervisé par un maitre peintre décorateur.
